most of the plat threads here are mostly from a handful of posters going back and forth over minutiae
positioning the person they are debating with for a gotcha trap
doing that in OKS is one thing

i agree - the place might be different now and i dunno that those posts would be received the same way. i think in part b/c of my history and b/c of the nature of this place now that more ppl would line up to snark and joke and derail the conversation(s) and they might drown out the more level-headed, sane, sincere voices.
