Pretty much by my prior statement...doing right by him in your life. If you go to church, or if you don't and you practice your faith at home, either one is not a sin...so that's where the understanding would come from.

So, what makes a church then? What is the definition of a church? From MY UNDERSTANDING, a church is a house of God. By that definition, I don't need stained-glass windows and an altar, or a collection plate, my house can also act as a church, being that it is a house of God.

That's fine...and I respect your personal opinion. It's obvious that you feel very strongly about your faith and your church which is good (and sadly, rare these days). It's good to get this insight

There's no argument there. He's taking the word of God and twisting it, while sinning as well, that's a double-whammy

I agree, that is the purpose of the Church, to listen to the word of God, to pray, and to study the word. But if the teacher is corrupt as well as a good portion of the students, the school must be called into question. If the students as well as the teachers are passing the wrong message, then some students would ultimately be affected, and that would defeat the purpose.

Just my opinion, feel free to disagree
