and i'm moving to michigan in a few weeks and am going to have to leave my wonderful teaching pastor and my beloved church family behind..*sigh* I AM GOING to miss them! But I'll find a church in Michigan. I know it!

Why do I love my church?
1. Cuz I love the Lord and this is HIS church.
2. My pastor teaches....bring your Bible, pens & paper. And as a result of his teaching and pastoring, I have a personal relationship with God. He also allows the spirit to use him to show me where I've gone wrong and where I CAN go right.
3. I love my church family.
4. My church family loves me.

Ms. Brownsuger, I hope you're reading: Bad Chuches are like plane crashes. Lots of Planes take off and land EVERYDAY without incident. And you never hear about those. But when a plane crashes, it's news because of the enormity of the consequences.

There are churches all over this world THAT WORK! And prayer, meditation and watching religious programming may work for you. But my going to church is based on these two things:
Service: For all that He does for me, a part of my serving Him, requires me to go to "service" And that's why we were created; to serve HIM.
And....
When Jesus was 12 he got missin' from his parents. When they found him, he was asked about his whereabouts. He revealed to Mary & Joseph that he had been in the synagogue being "about his Father's business" Jesus, the Son of God, went to church. I GOT to be there!
