In 18 games in the MAC last year, he scored 18 points a game on 37 percent shooting (29 percent from 3), and he put up a 1.6:2.7 A:TO ratio. His team went 5-13.
The summer league will be significantly harder than the MAC, lol.
I don't doubt he may have a game where the jumper is falling where the stats look good, because he always has the greenest light (to shoot, not to pass), so if he's on that day, he'll have a moment. But, like, I expect a lot of lines like "9 points on 4-13 shooting, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 turnovers."
He just has a long way to go to be an NBA-caliber player. Because of his athletic limitations, he either has to be a really good shooter, a really good creator for others, or a really good defender to have a real chance. If he could be 2 out of the 3, maybe he'll stick... but, yeah, that's a long way off, I'd think.
