... it feels like there's a good chance that whatever gun was in that car doesn't have a serial number anymore. So even if it *is* Bates's gun, it's not likely to be traced back to him. (I don't know what happens if you're found to be in possession of a gun that can't be traced.)
Regardless... stop at intersections at night, man. Especially when driving at a car that isn't yours. You never know if there's an untraceable firearm in there, lol.
