Digging out garden beds has my upper body kinda jacked. My "dirt" is 50% dirt, 30% small stones and 20% rocks and bricks. Carrying around bags of soil/manure helps too. Also working on the roof.
I do deads and squats in the basement still.
rdhull, are you trying to gain muscle or lose fat? If it's the latter, try adding in some mild cardio (1/2 to 2 miles jogging).
