were present?
how'd it go?
i can't tell you why some white ppl get a pass and others don't.
it's a feeling.
real recognize real.
it's a feeling.
Paul Wall...i mean, look. he seemed to have the right co-signs from ppl who seem like the type who would've checked him if needed. so i guess that was that.
he seem like he type who wouldn't violate at the cookout. like he might come thru w/some good brown liquor. to share. and maybe roll a couple blunts. to share. and not act funny about anything. that's good enough.
Macklemore...he has a denny problem. he thinks b/c he's checked all the right boxes on the survey that he should get love from __. and then almost gets indignant when it's not that way. he's doing too much. trying too hard. not just being himself. like he wants credit for not being racist/sexist/homophobic. as if that's something that deserves credit. you don't get credit for doing the right thing. or for not doing the wrong thing. that's like wanting credit for watching/taking care of your kids. that's what you're SUPPOSED to do. ain't nobody bigging you up for doing what you're supposed to do. he wants praise for it. he's trying too hard. nah.
