being a backpacker while also rockin' to the shiny suit stuff.
Like I said above, rap music that makes you boogie is always where I'm at.
And at that time, you could still find backpacker stuff mixed in with shiny suit stuff on Tony Touch mixtapes or any other DJ's mixtapes.
Now that I think about it, it wasn't until '97/'98 that rap really jumped the shark enough for there to even be a true backpacker crowd. Before then, everybody was listening to stuff that was found in backpacks but also on the radio.
