When they had 57 seats in the Senate. And which Obama was advocating, but they didn't do it.
With this particular senate seated right now? Again, no filibuster gives even more power to shitheads like Manchin and Sinema. Right now, they won't vote to increase the minimum wage and background checks for firearms. I would not be surprised at all at them balking at passing the John Lewis Act at the last second.
So, again, before the Democrats do anything, they have to make sure all of their ducks are in a row for their future agenda.
