51 is better than 60. You have a slim chance to flip two or three but getting 10 will never happen. A few years ago Dem's watched Garland's Supreme Court nomination go nowhere as the Turtle laughed when the tables turned and a filibuster would block his SC picks.
One of the tools white supremacists used was to scare the Dems into doing nothing or bend over backwards and water down the healthcare bill.
Even if Dem's keep the filibuster and Republicans get the Senate, they will do the same thing they did with the SC picks, laugh and get rid of it.
