I just wanted to say that it's beautiful to hear sisters talking openly about the pregnancy, birthing and "me and my baby" stages.
I also wanted to suggest yoga for women who are currently pregnant. I'm not an instructor or anything but I know that there are tons of asanas that women should do through out their pregnancy to open up the hip/pelvic region which is supposed to make birthing easier. There are definitely asanas that can help reduce gas pains and cramps. Yoga is also wonderful because you become more in tune with the breath and you own bodies reponse to stress and pain. I would bet any amount of money that it's also good for once you've just had your baby. I'm sure there are lots of books on prenatal yoga and you can also yogajournal.com for more information.
