Supanova: i have to give it to you NUshooz that a pretty revolutionary mission statement your asking us to sign. First and foremost i'll just state on A PERSONAL NOTE that i have no qualms with the idea at all. I'll be glad to support the cause but lets examine the history behind most of this. in a small county called Auburn,SC.( about the early 70's a group of local college students tried the same idea. Arguing on the point that it probably won't help with race issues and the flag probably might remain in its same dignified form that adorned their campus, but it just might raise a curious attention to the controversy that will rise at hand due to the circumstances they were about to create. The story goes they adorned themselves with symbols, paraphenelia, ect. And nonviolently attended their classes, emulating tendencies that they would naturally have on any given school day. By the middle of the day these kids were stoned, verbally abused, kicked out of most their classes, and later arraigned on charges at the end of the day...They accomplished their goal by raising attention. however their consequences rendered that they were expelled from school, on the grounds that they were not wearing appropriate attire that suited the institutes dress code regulations AND that their actions provoked violence on school grounds . "somebody said the revltioun will not be televised!" they're right because it nobody's gonna give a shit when it happens.
