Me and my boy were just talking about this as a scenario the other day. He was saying how he wanted to writ the skit on two old white dudes who wanted the ghetto back simply because the commute was too much. They were going to move all the folks in the ghetto out by simply starting a liquor store in the ghetto. The folks would now be in the suburbs so far out that no one would even acknowledge them. Like the Native Americans on reservations. And now the city would be rebuilt in to luxuary homes like the suburbs for the rich. The city would be theirs again... We were just playing with the thought creativly but I maybe we saw this already happening.

In San Francisco/Oakland the urban spots are now highly under regentrification. They are rebuilding housing for the poor at rates the poor can't afford. The poor are moving further and further out like Antioch and Stockton to find affordable housing. So far out that the city because this fading memory.
