the KFC story was an internet rumor from about a year and a half ago... i just got into an argument with a friend of mine over this. Supposedly they dont call themselves KFC anymore because the chickens arent chickens but genetically engineered beakless, featherless, 4 (or 6 depending on the version of the story you read) creatures. The Univ. of New Hampshire supposedly did a study on the birds. its false.

KFC changed their name around the same time Honey Smacks droppped the "Honey" i think it had something to do with not wanting the word "Fried" in their name anymore. They still use the word chicken in their menus... 8 pc. chicken meal ring a bell?
