They are more than just comedians. They are individuals of the black community, and their images are representations of that community.
That type of behavior or communication is not something that should be championed or propagated. Blacks calling other blacks coons, and verbally debasing each other is a negative reflection on black culture. It’s a total embarrassment, but our own people soak it up as entertainment, regardless of how it keeps up segregate within our own culture.
And yes they are elders, and yes they are guiders of their profession, just like the Murphys, Pryors, Wilsons, and Foxx that came before them.

My last gig they told a CAD designer the hours were 8 to 4:30.

Now, I have no idea what went on with Lee Daniels but from what I heard it was press and promo and they expected her to do it for free or outside of her contract obligations. Now if it was showing up late and being difficult on set.. well, its Hollywood and we all know how that goes. Some can and some can’t.
But is she one who can’t because she is a Black woman? Because her husband demands she gets X amount of dollars? ionno..

I remember awhile back for a local show August Alsina got mad that he had to go on before Migos when they were just starting out and he had a couple hit songs he had his security trying to fight the promoter.
Now they are one of biggest rap acts out and he is best know for being Jada's sidepiece. I'm sure he wishes he could get anywhere in a lineup with them now.
I remember on Drink Champs DMX joked about Jay-Z used to open for him then he ended opening for Jay but he understood the game.
