Came back today and am already wanting to tell all of these folks to PHUCK AWF!
Having already gotten a new gig don't help the cause nor my motivation to be here. I'm here all alone while everyone else on my team is in Iowa. And I'm still ready to tell them to PHUCK AWF!
Anyway, had a nice weekend...
- Binged on Narcos - Caught up on other shows: Greenleaf, Black Love, Queen of the South, Ballers, Insecure - Watched Power's season finale twice - Hung out with my youngest daughter who decided that coming home for a little shopping was better than staying on campus all weekend - Took my wife and daughters to brunch - Manicures for dad and daughters after brunch - Chilled for the most part with nothing much on the agenda

-cooked out -watched some great college football over the weekend -watched my daughter show off her alphabet and letter recognition skills to EVERYONE who came to visit her at her grandparents house. -went to the pier and watched the sunset -went to the beach yesterday and made sandcastles with the wife and kid -got to see my wife in her old bathing suite and GOTDAMN she looks amazing. -got a nice package of ewww weee from my Richmond friend who used our house like an AirB&B while we were out of town.

Had a very similar weekend, and my brother was here from Colorado in addition to all that. Ate good, drank good, smoked good, beach time, college football (Roll Damn Tide) and yeah, wifey lookin real good me too.
next week my girls will be in town so I'm preparing for the four of to be comfortable in my 1bdrm, 1 bathroom apartment. They won't be able to tell they're not staying in a five star hotel. This is a gift...my business.
got my hair braided...love it.
an former lover (the one before this last one) text me, "I was wondering if you still got it?". I replied back "nah"

its where the actual tailgate party is. since there are a lot of us living down here, I was looking for parties before the tailgate. There's quite a few going on.

Only problem is this is smartphone money and I'm stuck deciding between the G6 and the Xperia XZ1. Military drop spec sounds nice until you realize the device gets one more OS update and then that's it. On the other hand the XZ1 costs way too much for an HDR display and camera capable of taking 3D images you can send to a printer.
I contacted the host asking for a later check out. She responded saying that the reservation was canceled because she's selling the house. She blamed AirBnB for not contacting me, but we believe she was trying to run away with the money.
We had to scramble to find another place, which wasn't easy. We needed a house to accommodate 15 people. Luckily we did find something, which turns out to be bigger than the previous place but for sure cost more.
27. "Outside of Charlotte" In response to Reply # 26
Some place called Troutman. Based on maps it's 30ish miles outside of Charlotte. It's fine because we weren't planning on doing much other than just hang out.
We'll go out for dinner one night and breakfast/brunch the day we leave.
