30 MLB teams with 40 players

32 NFL teams with 60 players on the roster

Sure, more minor league jobs but the pay is crap. They finally adjusted the money a little bit because the pay was atrocious.

Then you have to think about all the international players you are competing against in baseball

Now, its not common but we hear about guys who never played football at all Moe Alley Cox and still make it in the NFL. No one is playing MLB after playing NCAA basketball for 4 years.

I think it would be fun to see how many players get called up every year in baseball vs practice squad players who crack the 53. I would think injuries are more common in the NFL which gives you a better shot to play.

No idea what my overall point is but I think its rather easy to compare MLB and NFL.
