There's still a big vocal group of "the education is enough payment!" college fans, but it's hard to say college football is not about the money when there's so much obvious big money flying around.
Like I used to look forward to having 6 or 7 Saturdays at the Rose Bowl to tailgate, but with all the crazy scheduling (Thursday, Friday, neutral site, super late night games) to accommodate for the big TV deals, there might only be 1 or 2 chances where it might work out for me to get out there... I really don't like that.
