He wasn't ready to be a head coach and really didn't generate any good will with the franchise city or players. Then he got his next job with the Jets, accepted, then quit to take the Patriots job!!

Bellicheck is a complete and total dick, but he's an incredible coach, so regardless of whether folks like you he'll get another job. Black coaches aren't given that line of credit.
