I can't imagine trying to drum up excitement for any of these.
Hairspray? That's ALREADY a movie. I am just so OVER the whole classic movie to musical stage show to new musical movie thing. The Producers was a terrible stage show and, by all reports, an even worse second movie. I'm not going to watch another classic be murdered.
And as for Michael Moore, as I have said repeatedly: I'm glad he exists and I'm even more glad that there's no reason that I personally have to watch his movies. I'm starting to wonder whether the first part is still true, though. He's so divisive that it wouldn't surprise me to learn that he drives right wingers even further into their entrenched positions. He's like a one man voting drive for the moral majority.
