i don't care if you are a virtuoso rapper any more than i care if you are a virtuoso singer or virtuoso guitar player. if you don't have a hook, you don't have a song. (it doesn't have to be a pop hook, though. even great jazz songs have hooks)i did count a few albums in that thread that I've given heavy burn to.
