i don't need every 12" single and remix. i don't need every guest appearance and side project.
my favorite artists are MJ, prince, marvin gaye, and stevie wonder.
3 of those four artists started at motown. which means they all have a boat load of filler that's not worth hearing once, nevermind owning.
the fourth is so prolificly inconsistent that makes efforts to own his entire discography futile and unrewarding.
that being said, there are artists that i own all of the albums from their golden eras.
but there's no artist that i own ALL of their material.
