Key words "these kinda lawsuits." The personal injury field of law seems quite healthy. The job of personal injury lawyers are to file lawsuits. Once the "low bar" was set, anything greater-than or equal to those injuries was lawsuit-worthy in the eyes of a lawyer (because they make money win or lose), whether or not it had the same merit as that case. Legal precedent.
The reason the put "CAUTION: Food will be hot!" on TV dinners that you put in the over at 400+ degrees F.

All I did was point out a cause-and-effect. I didn't make any statement about the merit's of Ms. Liebeck's lawsuit.
