It's funny how your talking point is how AOC needed to change because of the primary - when all the other Dems who backed candidates who *really* got crushed don't have to change a single thing about their messaging lol.
But again - not sure why Bernie always has to be dragged into the discussion - but since we're talking about him yet again - it's his success as a movement-oriented candidate that enabled AOC to be as bold and authentic as she is. Indeed, she has always cited Bernie as her inspiration for even wanting to get involved in politics. So this notion that she's somehow looking at Bernie's (wildly successful and transformational) outsider primary challenges as instruction on how *not* to campaign is hilarious.
She has not compromised one iota on the principles that got her elected - she's simply becoming more savvy as to how best to achieve her goals.
Yet she's still facing the same non-sense from doubters, "hazers", and traditionalists who can't see beyond their own blind allegiance to party orthodoxy.
