most of my friends are either people I knew in HS/College or from 'around'. I meet people, but I'm not too quick to call them friends. I've found out that meeting people tends to bring a lot of unwanted conversation at this age. People bitching about their marriages, jobs, kids, etc. I'm generally a friendly dude, but I don't really get too close to 'new' people. Every now and then I meet somebody with similar interests and we might meet up and hang for a drink or a show or whatever, but I'm not the 'call and catch up' type.
