>The one constant that the news panders is these quotes from >the parents like 'I had no idea about this side of my child'
why is that so unreasonable? How many people are gonna say "my kid is the spawn of Satan. Lock him up!!!"
> >White parents do that and have literally no excuse because >their children are more often raised in safer neighborhoods
not sure what that means...
> >Black children are often born into bad culture, we as parents >have to do better to shield our children from such.
Agreed.

Also true.
BUT, the facts in this case are slowly coming out.
The kids were classmates, and knew each other ( apparently they frequently smoked weed together)
The suburban kid's parents agreed to a sleepover ( the kids involved all lied to their parents; there WAS no sleepover)
The kid's parents dropped him off at a random location to meet his friends ( didn't ask to meet the other kid's parents or anything)
The kids all rode around together in a stolen van for TWO Days, kickin' it. (why weren't his parents looking for him?)
and the "special needs" kid had a learning disability. As did the other kid too, I'd guess, since they were classmates.
It's all fucked up, but I'm sick of these kids being demonized when ALL these kids were doing some shit they had NO business doing in the first place, and it escalated.
