and just BEING in college.
Like, we used to get $250 every Christmas just for being college students.
And there was a whole ceremony about it where we went up to the pulpit, shook the pastor's hand, took a picture and talked about our major and something we did that semester... as an inspiration to other kids in high school. All you had to do to qualify was get a letter from the school saying you were enrolled and have them send it before Thanksgiving.
That's positive reinforcement in my opinion. Having kids stand up, say something they have accomplished and reward them for it. Not having them roll around on the ground like fucking animals for change.
