And I think they can make it entertaining but it cannot sound too forced or else it just comes off as corny. I don't think rappers put too much thought into their rapping voice or technique. Meaning, they just do what they do. And when they try to change it, it can came out stilted. For example, Common has learned to rap on beat for the most part, but sometimes he has to insert awkward pauses to maintain the meter.
