Drafts a D in the fifth actually says "I'd take my kicker over yours" with a straight face.

So glad he bombed this draft. I cant even see any worst case scenarios in which he's actually competitive.

And beyond that, James Devlin will catch some balls out of a fb/te hybrid role.

I live in fucking Mass. All these dudes will be a part of the offense this year.

Edelman is a strong 3rd/4th WR but as your top guy??? wow. that's risky.

Decker isn't my #1 guy....but he's the Jets #1 Wr.....

Sammy Watkins isn't my #1 guy...... but he's ..probably the Bills #1 WR..... a deep threat ...potential home run hitter...

Riley Cooper and Steve Smith both play opposite of deep threat #1 Wrs and thus will be guarded by team's 2nd best CB which is an attractive option for QBs...

and Doug Baldwin is gonna have a lot of Td opportunities if Harvin stays healthy serving as the Seahawks underneath speed playmaker...

I prefer depth....options...and balance with my WR crew....

flipping Edelman and Cooper in last year is one of the reasons I finished so far ahead of you in the standings...

it's that acumen....

somehow living in the same state as Belichick doesn't provide as much insider info as you'd think. he couldn't predict that Edelman would eat up all the targets last season, or realize Ridley was their best back in 2012, or see how good Gronkowski was going to be the year before that.

Thought I was gonna be the first one to shake it up with Murray. Then Ball goes BEFORE him. Guess I wasnt the only one to notice how scarce RB's were gonna get. Still didnt expect to see Gio and Martin ahead of the stud wideouts. Toby in the second was pretty awesome, and then the rookie move of all rookie moves. Good old defense in the 5th. I remember my first draft.

Aaron Rodgers
Doug Martin
Frank Gore
Keenan Allen
Kelvin Benjamin
Zach Ertz
Jeremy Hill
Novak
Bucs D

R. Wilson
C. Hyde
L. Blount
A. Hurns
M. Wheaton
A. Gates

I'll harvest some WRs to compliment Keenan and KELvin. I always wait on QBs, wanted to change it up this year. Didn't necessarily want Gore, but I figured if I could get Hyde it'll work well. Reach for Jeremy Hill I guess, I'm hoping it won't matter b/c I see him as a weekly starter and a stronger long term bet than other backs available at that point. I felt compelled to snatch Russ mid-draft. Ertz is an X-factor. Decent squad I think.

I was tagging Martin in the second until I saw his pre rank. Benjamin BEFORE the keeper round was very odd. Im pretty sure you could have got him 5 picks later. And I like Jeremy Hill, but whoa. Pairing Hyde with Gore makes alot of sense and Allen as a keeper makes this squad look better than your drafted. Lot of fliers though.

think there's a good chance he breaks out this year, and i was worried about a team stacking up on RB/WR/TE then sniping him late, but it won't matter 'cause you already have rodgers. thanks for doing that.

hill in the 4th is nuts. benjamin in the 5th is also kinda nuts, but i can see why you did it if you were targeting hyde in the 6th. i can tell you benjamin wouldn't have made it to your 7th round pick, so if you wanted him and hyde, you did what you had to do. WRs are suspect and RBs need a few chips to fall your way, but rodgers will keep you afloat.

i'm not surprised you don't understand exactly how good wilson is. the seahawks scheme has held him back fantasy-wise, but if he even got an average number of QB touches-- which he very well could if their defense or running game regresses-- he'd be a top 3 QB easy. he was the #9 QB last year, 14 points away from stafford...

on 220 fewer attempts.

from an efficiency standpoint he's drew brees, except he can also run for 500+ yards. let me put it another way. from a rushing standpoint, he's michael vick, except he's also as efficient as drew brees. i'm not surprised you don't get it.

are closer in age to Bryan and Cere than the average NFL player. I also think Ellington is going to come up short of expectations, due to his coach and lack of red-zone chances.

big Pitta fan though; he's more talented than Owen Daniels.

I did add a Reserve position to everyone's roster this year. From NFL.com:

Players are eligible for the Reserved slot if they are officially labeled by their NFL team as:

RES: Injured Reserve
NON: Non Football Related Injured Reserve
SUS: Suspended
PUP: Physically Unable to Perform
EXE: Exempt

Once a player is moved to the RES roster position, you will have an open spot on your roster and can add a player to your active roster without the need to drop someone. Note that when the time comes to activate your reserved player, you will need to make a corresponding transaction to ensure your roster meets league-specified roster limits.

Once a player becomes active, you can keep him in your RES spot, but you will be restricted from improving your team via add, drop or trade since your roster will be in an illegal state. Note that your team will still earn fantasy points for matchups that take place, but you cannot improve your team via external transactions.

WR Marquise Lee

TE Cameron

Had to hedge my bets early with Murray/Dunbar but I knew that going in. Was very happy to get Green in the second and Cobb in the third. Hopeful Tate/Sankey/Ridley can be a viable No. 2 option and I really like Cutler to out perform at least 4 of the QBs taken ahead of him. Too many weapons. Only pick I was mad about was Randle going one spot before my pick and having to roll the dice on Amendola instead.

i know a popular line of thought this year is that these guys have multiple top WRs, so they should be top QBs. i don't think it works that way. i think you can absolutely produce a couple fantasy relevant receivers without being a good fantasy option yourself, due to inconsistency and lack of efficiency. i don't know. maybe you're right. the rest of your team is solid enough to make it work, so it'll be interesting to watch.

Love Cutler if hes healthy. Priobably shouldve waited on Matty and targeted Cutler.

Never trust Murray.

I think Tate and Sankey are busts but I love the value you got for Ridley. He will be your #2 Rb.

Then his body collapsed.

Like Matt's, another team that may struggle early as the younger players and players in new situations get situated, but could be really dangerous if/when those breakouts hit.

TE - greg olsen (R10)

K - stephen gostkowski (R12)

D - stillers

THE GOOD:
i got the #1 QB and the #1 WR in the first two rounds. that's what you should've done, but you didn't because you were busy drafting terrible running backs. brees will play 12 of his first 15 games in a dome, 8 of those at home. with graham, a healthy colston, cooks and pierre in sproles mode, and a suddenly not terrible mark ingram, this is the best offense he's ever engineered. manning's league-ruining season of last year is within reach.

if yulio yones plays 16 games, yulio yones will break the NFL's single-season receiving records. all of them. through the first five games last year, he was on pace for 130 recs and 1,800 yards on 190 targets, and that was WITH tony gonzalez taking up space (both in general and more importantly in the red zone). with ice's TE security blanket gone, yulio has a very plausible path to-- i hope you're sitting down for this-- 140+ recs and ~2,000 yards on 200+ targets. add his career TD rate to that, and you're looking at a conservative estimate of 15 TDs thrown in. i thought about drafting him in the 1st, but with the 8th pick and my snake draft expertise, i knew he'd fall. you really, really should've drafted yulio yones. yulio break all de records and gimme de monies.

in other news, andre johnson as my WR2 is pretty sweet. a keeper-eligible desean jackson is even sweeter. while you were busy drafting rookie WRs and defenses, i grabbed 2013's #10 WR in the 6th round. it should be noted that a hobbled RG3 (now healthy) got garcon to 113 recs last year and throws a much better deep ball than foles. this very well could be a league-ruining pick.

i can't even fathom why olsen was still around in the 10th. with the departure of steve smith, he's cam newton's #1 target, #2 at worst. not only that, but after olsen and benjamin, there ain't much else. improvement on last year's #7 TE finish is a given, the only question is how much. with the retirement of tony gonzalez, gronk's health up in the air, and vernon davis losing targets to a newly competent niners receiving corps, a top 3 finish for olsen isn't out of the question. i was perfectly prepared to roll with ladarius green and maybe grab another high-upside TE later. instead, i got the upside in round 9 and the crazy-high floor in round 10. that's what you should've done.

THE BAD:
my RB situation is rock solid, but there's no getting around the fact that i've got washed up RBs coming out the ears. steven jackson is old as dirt and is certain to get hurt at some point, but worst case, he's the goal line back on what should be a high-scoring offense. he was good for 6 TDs in his final 6 games last year, and that was at a time when the falcons were horrible, so there's a chance he puts up the kind of season tony gonzalez did last year, where it's like, why is this decrepit old man doing all this? probably not though.

whatever. 'cause i also got ray rice, who before last year's injury-plagued debacle was a top-7-or-better RB the previous four years in a row. because it seems like he's been around forever, people forget that he's only 27 years old. put next to the ages of other top RBs-- peterson (29), forte (28), charles (26), mccoy (26)-- and it suddenly becomes clear that reports of the death of ray rice have been greatly exaggerated. no sugarcoating the fact that he was atrocious last year, and could be just as bad this year, the same way mojo failed to bounce back last year. however... if he's not... if it turns out last year was a speed bump instead of "the hill," my team could be absolutely unstoppable starting around week 3.

in conclusion, i did all the things you should've done and now you're mad about it. guru graded my draft an A+ and is projecting me for an 11-3 record and a second-place finish. realistically though, that's probably my floor. discuss.

>Pierce: much better in preseason than Rice

pierce preseason ypc: 4.2
rice preseason ypc: 7.6

>in a run-heavy offense that suits Pierce's style much better than Rice's

the whole "this offense suits this guy's running style" thing is a myth. any offense is gonna suit rice's style better because rice is a substantially better RB than pierce.

>Rice: hurt again,

mild shoulder, and has three weeks to recover. he'd easily suit up week 1.

>still looked bad in preseason,

false. game 1: 3 carries, 17 yards, 5.7 ypc. game 2: 2 carries, 21 yards, 10.5 ypc. but you watched the games, so i guess only you would know how bad he looked. oops, except i watched the games too. he looked like ray rice.

>giving Pierce a two-game head start

pierce had a 16-game head start last year when rice spent the season battling a serious hip injury. still behind on the depth chart.

>I like the odds. *shrug*

you like the odds of harbaugh replacing his 27-year-old franchise RB who's led the league in total yards multiple times, scored 25 TDs his last two healthy years, and just carried the ravens to a ring two years ago for a guy with middling talent, a 3.7 career ypc, and 3 career TDs. yeah, that sounds like a safe bet.

I saw Pierce looking impressive and getting the goal line work. I saw Rice's couple of breakthrough runs-- I also saw Rice's couple of non-breakthrough runs, in which he just slammed forward into the line, because although you think the style of back an OC prefers doesn't matter, in my opinion it does.

Everyone is reporting Pierce looked better throughout camp, and they're writing off last year as being affected by injuries. Cool. I'll side with them in regards to how he looked in camp. Then I'll side with me regarding who I liked more in watching games.

I'm not saying Rice is Bobby Rainey. But he fell that far because people who watched Pierce play and read the camp reports know that unless the newly healthy Pierce bombs Weeks 1 and 2, they're looking at RBC at absolute least, with Pierce likely taking the goal line work.

Aside from that....Leveon is nice as a keeper.

Ray Rice..done. If Pierce didnt get hurt id be more confident he just holds onto that job aftre 4 weeks.

Jax- no thanks. Then Williams and Hillman...eh..

This WR Corps is actually better than Ernies. Really solid. But your TEs will score you 0 pts.

In response to Reply # 197

he put up 1,900 yards the year before, and his career touchdown rate suggested that rather than the 5 TDs he scored, he should've been in the high teens. not hard to get to 2,000/20 from there. factor in the two games he missed last year due to injury, and he was on pace for 1,700/14. considering he played through at least three other games on an injured knee that required offseason surgery, you're looking at 1,900/16, which is comfortably in the mid-range of my upside prediction. in conclusion, i was right. if you were better at fantasy football, you'd be able to see that.

QB Andrew LUCK
WR Calvin JOHNSON
WR Victor CRUZ
Flex Jeremy MACLIN
RB Joique BELL
RB Trent RICHARDSON
TE Jimmy GRAHAM

RB Fred JACKSON
RB Knowhon MORENO
RB DeAngelo WILLIAMS
RB Jacquizz RODGERS
WR Jarret BOYKIN
WR Cody LATIMER
QB Ryan TANNEHILL
DEF I think the Bears
K The one from the Ravens

While ya'll were drafting back-up RBs in the first 4 rounds I was loading up with the #1 TE, #1 WR, top 10-15 WR, and a top 3-4 QB. Lots of upside with Maclin, Latimer, and Boykin. Moreno, Bell, Fred J, and Richardson are the best RBs on their teams.

I like this team, dont love it. Ill beat yall on the waiver wire.
I wanted Brees as my Qb I agree with Pro he'll have a good year (the rest of your team sucks though dude), and my eyes started getting really big when I almost got Noodle Arms again. I have way too many RBs im prospecting on, so my WR corps is thin now, but I fully expect to hit it with at least 1 of those Rbs. Got a little panicked on this pick with time running out may have waited on QB another rd.

QB Matt Ryan (R 5)- I like Matty in a bounceback. I hate him in real life but if Julio stays healthy he'll have a big year. Unfortunately theres a 90% chance players with broken feet aggravate the injury the next year. I woulda stayed away from Julio as much as I love him. Wouldve taken Brady too, but he went 1 pick before.

QB- Jake Locker (R 13)- Gonna have a big statistical year til he gets hurt.

RB Jamal Charles (R1)- Fully expect jamal to get hurt again. Up until the last minute I was gonna take Forte here. But given the Bears losing some key Oline players, I decided to play "safe".

RB Arian Foster (R3) ehhhh. Was my downfall last year. But he was there and he's gonna get touche - especially with Tate gone. Who knows if he'll do anything with them. Hopefully Vex can get him back in shape.

RB Jstewart (R8) My favorite to win the Car RB job. Not like that means much when Cam is the primary RB. But yea Deabgelo is now 31-he's toast.

RB Cunningham (R9) Sleeper RB who is already taking touches from aoverachieving Zac Stacy. Still even if he takes Stacy's job whats he gonna do in that Rams Offense with Bradford out? 60 ypg. Whoopee.

RB Khiry Robinson (R11) "Most talented runner" on Saints. My hope is he breaks a big game early, steals the job and then convinces Sean payton to run the ball...Oh wait.

RB Robert Turbin (R12) Marshawn is done. i wouldnt have drafted him. Its just a matter of time. I wanted Michael too but Will took him early. The thing is Turbin isnt as talented but firmly entrenched as the 2 back. I figure once marshawn is gone, Pete uses a 2 back attack and Michael; and Turbin would be one of the best tandems. Considering where Michael went, Im thrilled.

WR Wes Welker (R4) Big risk here was torn between him and Sanders and almost just took both on consecutive picks but didnt want my packers situation. Any concussion and he's possibly done for the year. Given his style --- stakes are high. edit: looking back this was my worst pick of teh draft, ugh.

WR Cordarelle Patterson- (K) Hooray. i finally have a keeper worth not cutting.

WR Justin Hunter (R6) I think he's primed for a breakout year and produce like a WR2. We'll see. The talent is there. I reached a round or two early but the way guys were prospecting on young talent I figured Id take him.

WR Hakeem Nicks (R10) Lets see if he can bounceback. Finally showed something in last preseason game.

TE Gronk (Rd 2)- Love Gronk here but we all know his injury history. If Manning had dropped a few more picks I woulda just taken good ol Noodle arms again.

TE Charles Clay (K)- My second keeper. Shoulda kept Big Ben instead.

K Shayne Graham (R14)- last of kickers I wouldve drafted was on the board so I took him. NO scores a lot.

DEF KC Chiefs (R7) Was leaning Car Def all predraft. But just too scared of how bad Car offense will suck and how much theyll be on the field. Brightside--chiefs play raiders twice. Almost took Car and stacked two defenses, but figure with my itchy FA finger i wouldnt keep them anyway.

welker as a WR1? ugh. think i might just waive my team if that happened to me. i like justin hunter as much as the next guy, but you're in a position where you NEED him to break out. that's not ideal. not sure how any charles owner makes it out of their draft without knile davis, but a defense in the 7th, jonathan stewart in the 8th, and here we are. so basically you drafted as poorly this year as you did last, except this time you didn't have manning fall into your lap to bail you out.

But you know in game lets bet in regular season and playoff finish.

This will end early cause you won't even sniff playoffs anyways.

I don't think Marshawn is done done, but I'd feel better with Turbin in my back pocket. (Trade?)

Wes scares me way more than Marshawn. Wes terrifies me. If he can go unconcussed, and Gronk doesn't Gronk (meaning destroy his body somehow), you should be fine.

No major questions Can be one of the most stabl squads in the league if not a huge amount of upside.

WR1: dez
WR2: alshon
TE: Julius
Def: niners
K: Seahawks
Flex options: Crabtree, Pierre Thomas, wood head
Depth:Terrance Williams
Lotto tickets: Jonathan grimes, Jordan Matthews

Set out to make sure I got upside but covered myself at rb and built the strongest receiver core in the league, missions accomplished. Not in love with my QBs, but ready to rock.

Shoulda been much scarier starting with two top 20 players. Gio at 9 is quite the headscratcher. Receivers and suddenly underrated Cam will keep you competitive though.

After that dont love depth unless Matthews is big.

Gio that early with hill coming on is scary.

Well see what cam can do with no weapons.
Like the Rapey pick as a safe backup in case Cam struggles.
If this is FINALLY spillers year, youre good.

any team starting danny woodhead, PPR or otherwise, is in serious trouble. unless you're filling in a bye week, if you're putting danny woodhead in your lineup, that's when you'll know it's time to start punting for next year. ask frank.

My math may be off, but in a 12-team league, relegating that level of point production to solely bye week play seems... unwise.

Woodhead wasn't my team's problem. The rest of my team was my team's problem.

is that right? well, i think it is, but big surprise, i like the guys i chose more than the guys i didn't choose who ends up on y'all's teams.

i will say things are very, very even. you could convince me that any of the top 7 teams in my rankings are the best teams, and the bottom 5 isn't far behind. maybe this is recency bias, but i feel like this is the closest, most competitive BH I ever remember.

As I sat down to finally do them I'd say kc is a half step above about 5 teams who are all very close then 4 teams are close with a bottom 2

In response to Reply # 0

1) One Sixteen – Starting with an RB2 and Flex set made it a just don’t fuck it up situation. And KC didn’t. Suppose the older receivers could present a problem, but there’s decent depth there.

2) AM Gohards – Need an RB2 to emerge from Sankey/Ridley/Tate and I don’t see that being an issue. Stud trio of wideouts and a beast TE. QB platoon should be able to get me 20 a week.

3) Benjarvis Green Ells LLC – One of 2 QB keepers allowed Ceej to load up on position player talent. If Jennings or Miller can become a legit RB2, he’s in great shape.

4) Generic Team Name – Some surprising picks early were overcome by adding talent late. A lot of young potential.

5) Country Game Taylor Swift – To start with two top 20 players and not land in the top 2 is not easy. Way to many reaches. Could have been so much better.

6) Professionals – QB’s in the first aren’t necessary, but Julio dropping in the second bailed him out. An RB 2 away from contention.

7) NYU Football – Kind of boring, but solid squad. Don’t see the upside to be a force, but should compete every weak.

8) Imbruglia These Nutz – Marshawn Lynch. Chris Johnson. Maurice Jones Drew. Darren McFadden. This is a 2011 fantasy monster.

9) Vanessa Lane Bryant – Gronk. Foster. Welker. Lot of risk/reward here, and I don’t see the depth to bail him out if/when he needs it.

10) South Side Sinners – Started well enough with Keeper Keenan Allen, Muscle Hamster and Rodgers. Then things just got weird. Wasted early picks on long term, upside players.

11) Brain Heenans – You don’t have to have *great* backfield to win in fantasy. But you do need a backfield period. Or the best player at literally every other position. Sarah does not.

12) Harbor City Whoo Ride – Im glad I don’t have to lie and say “Warren has the worst team in the league”. Because he actually does.

First five rounds, in order of selection.

1) Gio Bernard, 9th overall - In a full PPR league, I could see someone justifying Gio in the top 15-20. For a guy not a lock for 200+ touches, this is quite the leap of faith.

2) Toby Gerhart, 21st - Looks like the volume will be there. Not sure what that means for a Jags RB. And with so many stud wideouts on the board, this was a huge reach.

3) Chris Johnson, 38th. Just a name. Maybe not the best back on his own team. Wanted no part, glad he went so early.

4) Jeremy Hill, 39th. What is so enticing about this Bengals backfield? His arrow is definitely pointing up, but this is reaching.

5) Ray Rice, 41st. Obvious.

6) Wes Welker, 47th. Also, obvious.

7) Tom Brady, 49th. 14 games out of Gronk may justify the pick, but I'm skeptical.

8) Seahawks D, 52nd. I expect this from rookies or females. Fantasy 101. Wait on the D.

9) Kelvin Benjamin, 58th. Rookie receivers are gonna struggle. Several safer receivers went after.

10) Maurice Jones Drew/Trent Richardson. 59th/60th. Good luck with that.

At that point in the draft, with my WRs taken care of and the potential RB2 pool running exceedingly thin already (perhaps already dry), it's not like I had too many options than to roll the dice on two straight old men on new teams that will want to run and hope one of them becomes a serviceable RB2.

It was either that or take Lamar Miller. Again.

Should I have taken Ray Rice, another player on your shit pick list instead of Jeremy Hill? That would have been "safer" right? A nice, dickless pick.

Perhaps Lamar Miller, MoJo, Trent, Freddie Jax?

I wanted a back at that spot. I like Hill - he will get a fair share of carries right away and goal line work. He will be Cincy's Ox. The AFC is garbage and the Bengals will be decent - I think that's the reason shells and I were bullish there. I felt that in this league, where most owners are tuned in, I may not have a chance to grab Hill much later. I'm sure the rest of you noticed the embarrassment of riches available at RB.

Sure I could've gotten another solid WR at that spot, but I wanted a RB, and one who has some upside and will get better as the season progresses, not worse. I also figured I could get a solid WR in the next couple of rounds, and if I couldn't pull that off in the draft, then I would through the wire. WRs are still much easier to harvest than RBs in this landscape.

I also don't know which "several" WRs who went after Benjamin are "safer", but I guarantee Kelvin outproduces them, and a few that were taken before him. Stud, target monster.

But his 4th preseason game made it hard for Matt I'm sure. If that game didn't happen he's around another 1.5.

The one thing I did this year that I rarely do is not draft rookies and young guys. I usually have a hard time keeping myself away.

i'll estimate that each roster will be 40-60% different in 16 weeks. we make picks based on predictions so it's weird we have some guys in here who already know how everything will shake down.

BGE hogged 220+ touches himself last season and Bernard still finished as a borderline RB1 under our scoring settings. Bernard had more catches last season than Hill did in his entire LSU career, and without Marvin Jones and a so-far still-hurt Eifert I see him holding onto or improving those receiving numbers.

I think the fact he hit a wall at the end of the year is a little concerning given his size, but if you believe in his talent, you have to take him early in a league where six starting running backs are off the board before pick one.

and Chris Johnson was eighth-highest-scoring running back last year (more points than Adrian Peterson). still under 30. perfectly fine pick in the fourth round of a keeper league.

Coach Rex Ryan reiterated this week that he doesn't anticipate that "one guy is just going to carry the load" in the Jets' backfield this season.
Chris Johnson had one run of 25-plus yards last year. Chris Ivory had five carries of 25-plus yards on 97 fewer attempts. Johnson continues to talk himself up as an annual 1,000-yard rusher -- he is, because he's stayed healthy and compiled numbers -- but based on recent efficiency, CJ?K isn't the best runner in the Jets' backfield. New York plans to use a committee approach this season.

247. "i don't even like ray rice"
In response to Reply # 156

i'm a stillers fan. i don't like him as a player or as a human being. i would've rather drafted vereen or CJ at that pick, so it's not like he's a guy i was even targeting like that. furthermore, my team doesn't need him to be good, so i really don't have a dog in this fight.

that said, it's crazy how many people aren't recognizing the down-year discount here. it happens every year. the people who took it after peterson's injury year and charles's injury year and mccoy's injury year mostly all won their leagues because they got a top RB in the 2nd round. i got rice in the 4th (a bigger discount due to the suspension). as i said, he may or may not pan out, i don't care, i hate the ravens. but the fact that y'all mock using a 4th round pick on a guy who's 27 years old and had been a top 7 fantasy RB for five straight years is why you guys don't win leagues.

likewise, the bernard pierce hype is absurd. rice carried harbaugh to the playoffs five straight years, including most recently a super bowl ring. he's led or nearly led the league in yards from scrimmage every year of his career before last. in real life terms, he's a top 5 RB. nobody was talking about peterson splitting time with toby gerhart or mccoy in a timeshare with bryce brown after their injury years. yet everyone is talking about a timeshare with bernard pierce, a guy with 3 career TDs and a 3.7 ypc average. a guy who failed to do anything of note when given the opportunity last year and who looks every bit the part of a backup.

again, i have no dog in this fight. i hate the ravens and from a fan standpoint, i hope they do put rice in a timeshare. there is, however, zero chance of that happening. if rice is healthy, rice is playing, and rice is touching the ball 20+ times a game. he's in on first down, he's in on passing downs, he's in at the goal line. pierce might spell him for a series or two, but rice is their guy. like, there's zero question about this. i'm way more worried about a bell/blount timeshare. again, i would have rather had vereen or CJ due to the suspension/knucklehead dynamic, but if you can't see that rice was far and away the best RB on the board at that point, you shouldn't be playing fantasy football.

When in this mode, literally everything anyone does truly annoys him. Look around this post.

Though I'm noting as Cere gets older, "preseason Cere mode" seems more and more to simply be "Cere mode."

As I said elsewhere in this post, I don't really have any expertise. Only horror stories about players I've had in the past.

You're acting like it's an ego trip for me to say how shitty I've been in recent years. It's weird. I just don't understand the point you're trying to make. That I reference multiple times in this post how awful I've been? Okay. What does that say about me?

Also, a little insulted I'm being compared to Dr. Delusion, frankly.

he was consistently roethlisberger's worst receiver for years. you drafted him in the 5th round at a time when he was manning's #4 option, over guys like colston, benjamin, and desean, who are better receivers with solid-or-better QBs and are their team's #1/#2. this may not be a problem if manning has another year like last year and again breaks every conceivable passing record. this will, however, be a problem if manning merely has a really good year and not a historic one.

the stars happen to be aligning for you, so congrats on welker being out till october. but he wasn't when you drafted sanders, so it's kinda wack to pat yourself on the back for a bad decision that ends up working out for a month. i say for a month, 'cause when welker comes back, sanders goes back to #4 and inconsistency at best, irrelevancy at worst. furthermore, it's still not clear whether sanders (who presumably will move inside to replace welker) or caldwell (who is bigger, has a longer track record with manning, and will now be outside in the decker role) will benefit more from welker's absence. guess we'll see, but i like the price i paid for caldwell way better than the price you paid for sanders.

i told you i wasn't gonna say which of your guys were on my do not draft list, but you got me. that one's a freebie.

did you really think "solid-or-better QBs" meant QBs that were either solid... or better than manning? lol. try this. solid... like RG3... or better than solid... like newton and brees. i'm not willing to manage your team for you, but i'll be happy to help you sound out words if you need it.
