CJ is a borderline all star. Nurk is real good. And Melo is the vet leadership.

KP is just a guy now, and THJ is a broke CJ

Dallas' second and third best players are Zingis and Hardaway Jr. They're starting a few guys who have no business in a starting line-up.

Portland's #2 is McCollum. #3 is either Trent Jr., Nurkic, or Powell. And they've got Melo. Covington is also respectable. That's not great depth, but it's better than the Mavs.

However Portland drew a matchup with a team that shows out in the playoffs. Dallas drew a matchup with a team that turtles up.

kristaps porzingis sucks now. I guess Tim Jr is their second best player? I dont even know. Its shocking the Clippers with two bona fides are getting beat.....because of one man.

some agenda shit, trying to upgrade one player while degrading another one.

Trash. That’s where this poll should go

And for the record, it’s even

Hardaway Jr/CJ - similar
Porzingis/Nurkic- similar
Brunson/Powell - similar
Finney Smith/Covington -similar
Benches are also similar.

Also you forgot the “I’m white” option for yourself...Delete this bullshit thread.

They are not that far off...and are pretty much the same.

Both SGs, both are shit on defense.

Tim: 17ppg/45pct fg/ 40 pct 3pt
CJ: 23ppg/ 46 pct fg/ 40 pct 3pt

Also, I rounded up for both players.

>Tim: 17ppg/45pct fg/ 40 pct 3pt
>CJ: 23ppg/ 46 pct fg/ 40 pct 3pt

You didn't round up for all stats on both players. Notably, you rounded Hardaway Jr.'s 3P% from 39.1% to 40%... but you didn't round CJ's 3P% of 40.2% or his PPG of 23.1 up in the same way.

So here are the complete, unrounded stats, so people can make their own decisions on factual statistics.

So why would I round up 23.1? That would get rounded down. Lol
I thought hardaways ppg was 16.5 which is why I rounded up.

I rounded up CJ’s FG pct to 46 pct because it was at
45.8

So there was no favoritism here.

Their fg pct and 3pt pct are damn near identical.

Also hardaway is avg 28 mins a game ...and CJ is getting 34 mins a game.

Luka is getting the same help at that position.

*YOU* do this shit in a largely different way from most. You're one of the most obtuse people that has ever existed here.

>You just said a lot of incorrect stuff

Please point out all the "incorrect stuff". You said that I said "a lot" of it, so you should have plenty to pull from.

>y’all losing, so now you are politicizing about being
>civilized?

I said nothing of the sort. I never said anything about you being uncivilized. Mostly, you're an obtuse buffoon who posts like a parody of the dumbest message board tactics of the early 2010's.

In fact, if we're keeping it 100, the only times in recent memory that I've taken anyone to task over a lack of civility, have been in defense of you, when I thought people were going overboard in their criticism of you.

-Frank's tone deaf, delusional, hypocritical and self-righteous declaration that he and circlejerk of ex-OKS poAsters won't come back because you destroyed the boards, despite that happening long before you came back.

-Ryan's mental health jab, which he admitted was a bridge to far, and would have taken it out were he able to edit.

I don't care if you're being uncivil. I care about whether or not you say shit that's actually true and contextually valid. You generally do neither whenever you have a personal issue with the subject matter.

The end.

That call you out on your BS.

It's not subtle either.

Any time you're shown to be wrong about something, or someone is explaining something to you that you disagree with, you have a similar reply.

I.E, Frank explained a pretty significant rounding error on your part, and you wrote "eye roll" or some shit. You've since edited, but that was your initial reply.

You deal in bad faith. You're not an idiot, but you're habitually incapable of being honest and objective in ways that go far beyond passionate fandom.

Also... when I said "extreme agenda wars", apart from the qualifier, it was in response to your "agenda shit" comment, when you've the biggest, most obvious- and oblivious- agenda poster around for the last year or two. By miles.

Pretty interesting that Kidd instantly turned down the Portland job when rumors were swirling around about him taking that spot, but he takes the gig with Dallas instead with no problems. I suppose he does have some history with the Mavericks, so I guess that make for some difference there.

It would be hilarious if Kidd burns any bridges with Dallas to get another coaching gig similar to how he did with the Nets to nab that Bucks job.

specifically because of how young Luka still is. They can get rid of everyone else and it'd probably still be the more desirable job for that reason alone. Portland has a better roster at the moment, but they're really just scrambling to save the Dame era. Wouldn't be surprised if they're blowing things up a year from now... or even a month from now if Dame/McCollum don't like their choice of coach.

that Rick Carlisle pretty much wanted Kidd to succeed him as well because of all the roots he had in Dallas.

The snippet I read was very odd since it isn't common for a former coach to campaign for someone else to take his spot.
