I'm writing this as I'm currently watching Tre Madden get stuffed at the goal line but I honestly think they might simply talent themselves to 10 wins this year. Their schedule is about as soft as you'll see for SC, I mean they miss Oregon this year, their toughest non-ND OOC opponent is freakin Utah St., and they get Stanford and UCLA at home.

Kiff at least made the right choice starting Kessler. And Pendergast is a good fit for your defensive personnel, he knows the conference and he won't be the out of touch embarrassment that Monte was. They're gonna at least score some points with Lee and Agholor out there.

Really your best chance at getting Kiffin fired (which I think is your goal) is if they just start getting blown out in the back half of their schedule. Cause I don't see them losing more than maybe 1 in the first half. At ASU, ND, and Oregon St. will tell a lot. If they look bad in those, things could really go downhill, but if they manage to get out of that unscathed, they'd be a real tough opponent for Stanford and UCLA to end the season.

but I agree this schedule is 'easy' by the usual standards.

I don't really expect anyone to run away from you in these games, but the offense might be surprisingly shitty. Never been a big Silas Redd guy and yall OL haven't look too good to start this game. I don't really see SC's rich alum being happy at all if they win 8 with this schedule, Kiffin really needs to crack 10 wins to have a chance of saving his job.

This offense is ass outside the receivers though & that's the easiest thing to take away if the rest sucks.

I mean, off the top of my head, I have like 15 channels broadcasting live football games (ESPN, CBS when TWC gets it back, NBC, ABC, FOX, ESPN2, FS1, Fox Sports West/Prime, ESPNU, CBS Sports which I still get for some reason, NFL Network, Pac-12 Network, NBC Sports, FX, TWC SportsNet... and I'm on a pretty basic cable plan)... plus consider on a busy college football Saturday, most of these channels are gonna broadcast 2-3 games. Are we simply gonna run out of good announcers? I expect at least the big channels will have at least 1 or 2 good teams, but there can't be that many good ones left for the rest of the channels, right?
