I think the screaming on Ego Tripping was a big reason why I avoided that album for a few years lol. Especially when The Roots had done their version and I went back to listen to De La's I did not get it. With time that changed and after seeing them live I totally get it and enjoy it but it does give me pause on playing it for others.
I know the peeing sound always bugged me and would distract me whenever the song would come on.
Personally, I never minded it the screaming at the beginning of Ego Trippin’. Later, I really learned to embrace it because it was an easy way for me and my kids to crack up in the car and get them involved in a fun way.

As much as I am okay with the screaming in Ego Trippin', the screams and moans on Pawn Stars makes it a little challenging to listen with the kids in the car.

especially with the guy grunting and the backgroud chatter sounding like people in another room. Given the way it sounds, if he's pouring drink, it's gotta be into a keg that's sitting on the floor lol.

This is cringe for me. There are a few exceptions, but I just know that they are going to be proven wrong in a year or two. Any emcee that yells that at 18 is an idiot, and needing a friend.

Like, one or the other would have worked. But with him doing essentially the same schtick on every song on "To East Blackwards," eventually it was like "Enough already!"
