Come the fuck on. Before even being signed/managed by anyone they were already making smart moves ahead of the curve of most of their peers. Tyler assembled a cohesively well thought out idea and aesthetic with an internet presence that when new comers first got hip to could lead them down the rabbit hole in a way that was really exciting. And to say that all the ideas that they've come up with since being managed have been 100% the work of their representation is completely asinine. A touring pop up shop, all the side projects and producers/rappers theyve worked with as selectively as they have, the TV show, the clothing line, the blog, etc... Most credit should go to Tyler, lets be honest.

I can agree with you on this. Thats why he needed to be on his own with the ability to work with OF at will. He's not like the other members of the group outside of Tyler and Frank who work better as part of a larger whole. He's going to be touring alone eventually, and down the line should not be limited by signing the same deal as everyone else. But I think your overstating the drama in this, Tyler and Earl are best friends any way you slice it.
