I’m going to Pittsburgh in a few weeks for a Steeler game. Debating whether to fly or drive. I want to fly to save time plus I have a $200 flight credit so it would be free but the car rental was looking expensive as hell.

I grew up in Pittsburgh with no car. I will never EVER go back to my home town with no car. Simply because of all those cold ass walks and long waits at the bus stop where I told myself:

“One day, one glorious day.. I will have a car!!!”

Reading the news somewhat regularly, those two activities seem to always come up with some deaths that I always say I would never put myself in that type of scenario.

hiking on well-traveled routes is generally harmless if you are relatively well prepared (water, snacks, sun protection).

but we weren’t serious. When the road to the trail turned to dirt I busted a u turn.

I always said I wont die in a way that has people saying “he knew damn well he shouldn’t have been out there”

Angela Tramonte, 31, flew out to Phoenix in late July to meet Dario Dizdar, a Phoenix police officer who she knew through social media, according to friends.

A day later, the pair went hiking on Camelback Mountain in temperatures as high as 104°.

Awoman has plunged to her death after falling 50 feet while hiking along an oceanside trail in California.

Yvonne Rogan was hiking the Mori Point trail in Pacifica when she fell from a cliff to the beach below on the morning of Sunday, September 5.

First responders found the 45-year-old unresponsive on Rockaway Beach about 50 feet below the trail, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. Police later confirmed Rogan died at the scene, the publication added.
