13442023, Things you will never do Posted by legsdiamond, Tue Sep-14-21 01:07 PM
I’m going to Pittsburgh in a few weeks for a Steeler game. Debating whether to fly or drive. I want to fly to save time plus I have a $200 flight credit so it would be free but the car rental was looking expensive as hell.
Cowrker said “just uber or rely on friends for rides”
me: FUCK NO!!!!
I grew up in Pittsburgh with no car. I will never EVER go back to my home town with no car. Simply because of all those cold ass walks and long waits at the bus stop where I told myself:
“One day, one glorious day.. I will have a car!!!”
what are some things you will never do?

I would have to walk an hour in the dark to make it to the bus stop to the train to another bus to make it to work on time.

Reading the news somewhat regularly, those two activities seem to always come up with some deaths that I always say I would never put myself in that type of scenario.
Always in the news.

13442202, Backcountry hiking is probably the cause of the issues you read about Posted by RandomFact, Wed Sep-15-21 03:29 PM
hiking on well-traveled routes is generally harmless if you are relatively well prepared (water, snacks, sun protection).
