"When's the last time you stole something? "

I had a bottle of that Strawberry Moscato in the baby seat of the cart, fully intending to pay for it but when I got to the check out... nah buddy. That wine chilled in the baby seat all the way to the passengers seat of the whip. I kept my lil 4.50.

what y'all out here stealing?

she uses them for trash bags and uses them a lot. so i'm really just helping out an older shut-in friend, i didn't/don't take them for myself. even when the stash of bags get built up at my house i gather a bunch of them and take them to her.

do you ask for paper and plastic when your groceries are being bagged?

speaking of “trash”...
I have this big ass garbage can in my kitchen that I’m considering getting rid of. There’s no reason for a single person to have such a thing. I must have caught it on sale...or something

When I was in high school I used to work a lot of scams, shit to get free music, new sneakers, crap like that. You buy a pair at the outlet for $30 and find a place that still has it for $120, swap for some new shit, or you get a store credit when the record story is busy AF and walk out with the credit *and* the stuff you were going to trade for it. I dunno we were just lil dumbasses.

Now once in a while I will have something weird happen with Pay Pal where I get something free that maybe I shouldn't have. A lot of the time they won't even reverse it if you tell them. Like I opened a case asking for a partial refund because a box was damaged and they gave me the full refund plus the shoes it came in. I called them and told them it was a misunderstanding and they said don't sweat it. Same thing has happened with delayed deliveries where they gave me a refund but later the items came.

I had a similar thing to your Moscato story the other day. I went to pay the grocery store and couldn't find my hot sauce. It had rolled inside of a bag of hand cream I bought at another store in the same mall. I could easily have just kept it moving and came up on $2.39 but I said fuck it, nah, pulled it out and paid.

One thing I will admit though is that if someone gives me too much change I often don't notice or if I do I will keep it. That happens to me a lot in Colombia. I find Colombians overall to be fairly savvy but arithmetic is really not their forte. A lot of times you will pay a $35 charge with a $50 bill and receive $35 in change, in fact I couldn't count on my fingers and toes how many times that exact thing has happened.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

I've never stolen anything but receive lots of donations via something in a public space. It's not my fault you move in and leave your stuff touching the side walk as that is open area and technically a part of the street.

It's not my fault you go in the house and leave things on the back of your truck.

It's not my fault you drop something and someone else picks it up.

*EDIT*

An iPhone appeared out of nowhere

An 32 inch TV appeared out of nowwhere

For some strange reason a couch appeared out of nowhere

For some strange reason beer appeared out of nowhere

A Moto G5S appeared out of nowhere

For the record nothing was stolen as stealing is illegal so don't do it..

FOH justifying someone leaving something somewhere then getting mad when they see it on eBay years later. You left it or dropped it and now it is fair game.

I stole a frozen lunch. Times were hard and I was faded and usually we went to the register and fake scanned or paid pennies on the dollar.

I got lazy and didn't see the guy following me. I was in the break room and dude busted in asking for my receipt. I told him it was in the trash.

These fools went through the trash piece by piece looking for it. The manager was pissed. "I know it couldn't be this deep down since you just got in here" I responded.. keep digging!!!!

They went through all of it and then threatened to call the cops. I signed a piece of paper admitting I did it but told them I ONLY signed this cause I don't fuck with cops, NOT cause I'm guilty.

I was guilty as shit tho...

Back in the late 90s. lol they used to have the entire book's contents on the CD in like a ziplock bag scotch taped to the back cover. #gimmedat.

Once stole a PS2 memory card from Best Buy that was probably the riskiest heist, lifetime.

Since then it's just been like $800,000 worth of music and occasionally keeping my mouth shut when I notice I'm undercharged for something.

I blamed my mommy brain. My kid wasn't big enough for the shopping cart so you have to use the stroller.

I would pile things all over and under the cart. I would forget about under all the time and just walk right out.

I only remembered because I had to load the stroller back into the car.

Other than that I've forgiven the cashier for not ringing up some of my stuff. Sometimes I'm honest and tell them then other times I'm not.

TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

Unload the baby, the stroller, go back into the store then stand in line. Only to turn around to go back to the car to unload what you just loaded up a few minutes ago.

Nope. Not gonna do it.

Shopping with my dad and grabbed some hard candy.
He saw me in the car and asked me where I got it.
Gave me a lecture.
Thought I was home free lol.
Next day I got a spanking.
Never did it again.

The worst. Things getting back to normal, you thinking it's blown over, mom/pop is even in a good mood again. Then later, they show up like "Oh, I ain't forget."

I've heard of this group of teenagers in some high school that used to steal magazines and sell them, allegedly.

I've heard of dudes that flipped condoms, that's right condoms stolen out of the store.

Someone I encountered in college worked at grocery store as a janitor and had a key to unlock toilet tissue dispensers and soap dispensers. What do you think she did with that tool? That's right *birdman hand rub* she got the bag by reallocating college resources. She had the nerve to tell me that it wasn't illegal because she paid tuition so technically she paid for the right to reallocate these resources and flip them.... And that's where the stories end.
