Do you guys really want to go back to posts where, for example, someone like you is constantly referred to by your government name and your posts get locked because a pack of wolves descended on you?
I think the so-called glory days are romanticized like a motherfucker and 90% of the population doesn't *really* pine for a return to form and would flip their lid if they got a REAL dose of the "good old days" of the wild west.
People piss and moan about a considerably tamer version of that shit right today.
Okp might be less interesting these days but it's better in a lot of ways. This place can be better without returning to the "glory days".

In that case you completely missed the point of my response and are, as I said, romanticizing yesterday as though the good didn't come part and parcel with plenty of bad. If you don't think a generally mean spirit had a significant hand in driving that content you've forgotten quite a bit.
I didn't "escalate" anything other than to point out how the loss of the supposed glory of yesterday also meant the loss of, or at least loss of tolerance for, a lot of negative shit that doesn't fly so high these days.
There are just many posts lamenting the tighter policing as there are the loss of personalities. If you don't see the correlation there, you're on some Lois Lane shit.
