"Ever told a friend they don't look happy in a relationship?"
How that work on for you, that friendship and that terrible relationship?
I see my dude and I just see his soul being crushed. It reminds me of how Tony Soprano described his mother as a joyless woman who wore his father down "to a little nub".
Can I assume that there is no need to tell him because he already know?

I said "it doesn't sound like either of you are happy"
they broke up soon after. I doubt I had anything to do with it tho, I think he just heard himself say it out loud one too many times.

13. "Update: So SHE wants a divorce" In response to Reply # 0
So she told my other Ace's wife that she wants a divorce. She says she thinks he is cheating but we know it isn't true just looking for an excuse.
My Ace told me but asked me to not break the confidence of his wife who was told about old girl wanting the divorce in confidence.
Now I of course swore to secrecy when my Ace told me this secret but of course I feel compelled to tell my original Ace that his wife wants a divorce. Bro Code requires it right (though there appears to be a bro code conflict)!?!?
So my choices are:
1. Do nothing. He will find out the deal when she tells him thus I will be honoring my promise to keep a secret.
2. Tell My original Ace so that he can be prepared for what's coming. Of course I will be blowing up the relationship between my Ace's girl and the wannabe divorced chick but yeah, whatever.
If this is all too confusing I will redo and give folks alias.

Seriously. Projection is real. At least put the bug in your homey's ear that he should make sure everything is on the up-and-up and to protect his neck.

they'd been together 9 years, but i knew he didn't want her anymore. i just told him he needed to break it off sooner than later and he did within a month. now he's with a new woman that he really likes.
