"I dropped my sidekick & my texts disappeared"

I don't think the battery came out but the back cover did and I know from previous times dropping it the texts disappear

But since the battery didn't come out I think its weird the texts are missing.

I've turned it on and off a few times and for a minute there, I saw texts come back from the dead but now nothing.

Anything I can do about this cause I had that 50 texts that I'd like to have back.

It was last sunday when this happened.

It's a common problem. I suggest duct tape.

but duct-taping the sidekick to your wrist is probably a good preventative measure..
