Just came from a mixed gathering. Some purple, some green. And I don't know how I'm going to pass the time until kickoff because I'm too pumped.
As cunty as all of his fans are, watching Aaron Rodgers run that offense is ridiculous. As much shit as cantball deservedly gets for NO ONE EVER OF ALL TIME, I do think this is one of the best marriages of an offensive scheme and a QB with all of the abilities to run it that I've seen in a long time.
But he's also got fewer playoff wins in Lambeau than Daunte Culpepper. In the McCarthy/Rodgers era, they haven't been great in cold weather playoff games. They definitely have a style that seems more suited to an indoor/warm weather team. Are they built to come from behind if they need to in icy conditions? We might find out.
On the other side, we have a team that excels at running and stuffing the run. All things are possible through Purple Jesus, and the Packers haven't been able to stop him yet (lol @ "he won't get 200 on us again.") And the D showed last week that it's possible to rattle Rodgers, though that still doesn't mean he won't get TD's.
This is going to come down to Christian Ponder and Antoine Winfield's One Good Hand.
