Just came from a mixed gathering. Some purple, some green. And I don't know how I'm going to pass the time until kickoff because I'm too pumped.

As cunty as all of his fans are, watching Aaron Rodgers run that offense is ridiculous. As much shit as cantball deservedly gets for NO ONE EVER OF ALL TIME, I do think this is one of the best marriages of an offensive scheme and a QB with all of the abilities to run it that I've seen in a long time.

But he's also got fewer playoff wins in Lambeau than Daunte Culpepper. In the McCarthy/Rodgers era, they haven't been great in cold weather playoff games. They definitely have a style that seems more suited to an indoor/warm weather team. Are they built to come from behind if they need to in icy conditions? We might find out.

On the other side, we have a team that excels at running and stuffing the run. All things are possible through Purple Jesus, and the Packers haven't been able to stop him yet (lol @ "he won't get 200 on us again.") And the D showed last week that it's possible to rattle Rodgers, though that still doesn't mean he won't get TD's.

This is going to come down to Christian Ponder and Antoine Winfield's One Good Hand.

A decent starter on the road (against a team he tore up last week) or a dude who has started like 3 games...at the most vital position in the sport. No difference? I know you're one for hyperbole but c'mon.

It's nice he finally completed his second pass thrown more than 15 yards in like half a season or whatever it was last week at home in a game the focus was all on A.P. even more than usual.

But I don't think the Pack should have been the least bit concerned about lightning striking twice outside a dome in January in Lambeau for his playoff debut with Woodson coming back.

He casually makes outrageous throws all game long. Feet don't matter. Movement doesn't matter either. Most of the time, the ball is going where it is supposed to go. And fast. Jarring to watch him after Schaub and Dalton. Not to mention Webb is out here looking like Rivers...making 'fuck it, I'ma chuck it' throws. It is sad that they didn't have a better plan for him. He got first team reps this week so it ain't like Minny was shocked when Ponda couldn't go, which is crazy.

Ponder made some big throws last Sunday. Minny needs points and that read option shit was cute, but there was no way he was gonna go toe to toe with Armitron 3000 and not throw the ball down-field.

Christian Ponder was just ruled out tonight. Joe hasn't taken any reps with an wide receivers all season. He did reasonably well considering he wasn't starting as of yesterday night. In addition to that it's Lambeau Field in January. Mike Vick is the only guy to successfully hoe the Packers in Lambeau this early in the playoffs.

Give him a full offseason to work on his mechanics and study the playbook.

This is the coaches fault. They knew last week Christian was injured. They should've gameplanned around Joe instead of listening to Christian.

His job, as the #2 QB, is to come in with little to no preparation and put in a performance good enough to win a game. He did not do that. He was a huge reason why they lost - he provided no spark whatsoever. He therefore has no value on a roster as a #2 QB.

So then you have to evaluate whether he has the potential to be a #1. He does not.

Tonight he played about as well as you would expect your local high school QB to do. That's not going to cut it. He was making mistakes that any pimple-faced 5th grader with a copy of madden knows not to do - yet he is taking up a roster spot in the NFL. He's done.
