Shia LaBeouf to have real sex in Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac

So is he gonna be smashing Charlotte Gainsbourg? I don't find her particularly attractive. I'm gonna see it regardless, cuz Melancholia was my favorite movie last year.

It's exactly what it sounds like. Shia LaBeouf has confirmed that all his sex scenes in Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac will be absolutely real.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 26-year-old recently signed on to star opposite Charlotte Gainsbourg in the Danish filmmaker's erotic two-part drama. The story centers on the sexual escapades of a woman (Gainsbourg), spanning from her youth to age 50.

"It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he's making," said LaBeouf of the film. "For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."

LaBeouf went on to tell THR that he's pretty much called it quits on traditional studio flicks such as Transformers or Indiana Jones.

"I'm done," he said. "There's no room for being a visionary in the studio system. It literally cannot exist. You give Terrence Malick a movie like Transformers, and he's f***ed. There's no way for him to exist in that world... dangerous. He scares me. And I'm only going to work now when I'm terrified."

Production for Nymphomaniac is scheduled to begin next month and will be released in two versions, one more sexually graphic than the other.
