Or not wanting to play baseball. He could have been way worse but they always balanced it out. Him tutoring Nog was an awwwww moment or them hanging with the Bajoran girl/leader/negotiator. It was never too sappy. And I never was like, man, Jake again? Next scene.

I can see that. His heart should have stopped a few times that season. He was everywhere doin it all.

I like him a lot. Scotty became a caricature but no way can that happen with O'Brien.
