But I usually go this route. I've decided to read A Long Way Down & The Road before the movies just to test things out though.

I mean I remember all the Watchmen talk before the movie was even announced & how it would never happen because it just wasn't possible to trim it down to a decent running time. But I was sold from the first trailer. I'm almost positive I'm better off seeing what the big screen has to offer first and then having the rest opened up to me in the novel. I'm pretty sure I'll get the same enjoyment when I get around to reading Let the Right One in as well. I liked the movie but had a ton of questions afterwards. It's good to know I can go to the book (or PTP) after the fact to get the answers.
