but seriously...the drug thing on her new record is a little disturbing.

The album title is a reference to Ecstacy.....at a recent performance she asked the audience 'Has anyone here seen Molly?' (slang for 'is anyone here on ecstacy?') to the cheers of a bunch of adolescents.

How cool is it for a 50 something year old lady to be encouraging/co-signing drug use with a bunch of teenagers?

Strange...she's always skirted the drug issue pretty cleverly imo.
