ain't going to do ish.
Like it started even before the inauguration.
I spend a lot more time defending Biden than I want to, not because I love Biden, but people don't understand very basic elements of how government work. It's conversations like this:
Man Biden Ain't ish, why is he doing everything by Executive Order and not passing laws already?
Well, executive orders are the easy things he can do on day 1 without congress, so until congress is organized and people confirmed by congress, why not pass the low hanging fruit of executive orders.
Man Why Schumer even negotiating a powersharing agreement with Mitch?
Well because current Senate rules require a powersharing agreement when the senate is 50/50.
Man, the no Private Prison Executive Order ain't doing shit since it doesn't effect most private prisons.
Well, Biden didn't say it was major change but it was what he could do right away by executive order.
Man Biden tricked everyone talking 2000 checks and now they talking 1400 checks?
He literally is talking about passing the bill that AOC and others already passed in the house.
You read this and its clear how daunting Dems holding power will be and I think Dems know they got to go big or they will be sent home.
However, there is this loud persistent section from the left who've made clear they are going to hate whatever Biden does because he isn't Bernie or send out reparation checks.
It all seems kinda hopeless when it comes to Dems retaining power.
Its gonna take a miracle.
