you're a legal gun owner. you heard a noise in your house so you grabbed your gun to go check it out.

you get to your front door to find it open with a person running through it. you reach the entrance to the door and the person is running away. it's a clear shot. it's an easy shot. if you pulled the trigger there's a 100% chance you'll hit your target.

would you shoot?
