What Bentagain is saying is that the whole reason there is a protest/occupation in Mpls right now is because the police murdered a black male a little over a week ago.

For some of the folks on the ground here, there is some hints of conspiracy. People are reporting that Monday afternoon/evening a white supremacist who had been outed at the protest was seen (and photographed) getting into the back of a car. The driver of that car was wearing what appears to be a state patrol jacket.

And a second suspect has now been apprehended.

Not that this takes away from the points that your making (re:murder gets more attention), just wanted to provide some additional information.
