i know folks in Mpls shutdown a freeway last week during a demonstration. that was reported here. and last night's shooting was also reported.

i assume the police-shooting up there hasn't grabbed headlines like prior police-involved shootings as of late in part b/c of the Paris terrorism and subsequent refugee hand-wringing coupled w/the ongoing presidential election campaigns. but still there's room for it. and the media likes those stories right now so i expect that coverage will come. though it's likely to be overshadowed by the McDonald/video story coming out of Chicago.
