I always feel guilty about things even when I have no control over them. I take on other peoples problems as my own because I'm scared of dealing with my own issues. I think if I help others then others will help me.
But it doesn't work that way and I end up disappointed which makes me resentful.
That's a big issue for me. So I start by recognizing when I'm feeling upset or guilty about something and use logic to get thru it instead of avoiding it and acting like I don't feel anything.
